Research Intern

Your role

The Research Intern will support Wedu in the completion of critical research project that will have direct impact on the business plan and operations of the organization. The research aims to understand the quality level of university education in different countries in South East Asia and shape the partnership strategy of our young organization. You will report to Mario, the co-founder.

Business Development – Grant Coordinator Intern

Your role

The Business Development – Grant Coordinator will support Wedu in identifying, applying and managing grants from individuals, family foundations and other donors across the world. The role offers a unique opportunity to learn the capital structure and financial management of a social enterprise as well as the overall capital flow in the impact investing space. The coordinator will be empowered to make strategic decisions on how to address each application. Attention to details, proactivity and creativity are required as well as previous experience in a similar role. You will report directly to Mario, the co-founder.

Business Development – Competition Coordinator Intern

Your role

The Business Development – Competition Coordinator will support Wedu in identifying, applying and winning business plan competitions across the world. Having already won three competitions last year and now we have a much better knowledge on how to compete effectively. The role offers a unique opportunity to learn how to address such competitions. The coordinator will be empowered to make strategic decisions on how to address the competition. You will report directly to Mario, the co-founder.

Operations & Communication Manager

Your role

The Operations and Communication Manager will primarily focus on the preparation and execution of effective communication plans, and you will also support the operational side of the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the communication and operation strategy of Wedu. We are looking for a person with entrepreneurial spirit and that will have increasing level of responsibility and autonomy as Wedu grows.

Your role

The Administration assistant will provide general support to the operation of Wedu and with liaise with all staff and volunteers worldwide on a broad variety of matters.

Business Development and Communication Intern

Your role

We’ll be looking for your expertise and insights in managing the user experience of our exciting online Crowdfunding campaign in a way that shows off the innovative nature of our projects. This includes:

  • Collaborating in the design of a video, site, and presentations for the Crowdfunding campaign.
  • Supporting the communication with backers and partners during the campaign.
  • Driving the successful promotion of the campaign across all communication channels.
  • Other communication tasks as required.
